A third webinar series focused on Stochastic Hydrology will be held as part of the eMasters in Water Resources Engineering (eMWRE). Partners in Palestine, Jordan, Europe, and abroad will introduce different topics related to time series analysis, uncertainty analysis, droughts and floods. Each webinar will also include time to engage with the experts during a Q&A session.
Some of the presentations that will be carried out, are the following:
Copula functions in hydrology – Dr. Nejc Bezak;
Non-stationary flood frequency analysis – Dr. Mojca Šraj;
Flood and Data Analytics Research – Dr. Vidya Samadi;
Introduction to sensitivity and uncertainty analysis for hydrological models – Dr. Jiri Nossent;
Meteorological and Hydrological Drought Indicators – PhD Candidate Estifanos Yimer; and
Flood risk management in Jordan – Professor Radwan Al-Weshah.
